Always match the colors in your hair. Using 2 (min) to 3 (max) different colors will give you the most natural effect. The best way to achieve natural looking hair extensions is to always be connecting the extensions color and layering to that of your own hair. Choose the colors that are most natural to your own or your clients. For ombre effect use 2-3 levels lighter than your natural shade but make to use one darker shade to connect to your natural tones. You can literally paint in hair colors with extensions without ever using a brush.
